Yes, it’s that time of year (obviously).

I suggest that you somehow (electronically or on paper) codify your accomplishments for 2008 and list your goals (no, not resolutions — that’s different) for 2009.

It might be helpful to take a “four-way” view as you determine where you are and where you want to be. Consider how you currently allocate your time:

  1. Home-life

  2. Work

  3. Community (however you want to define that)

  4. Self

Now, consider how you would like to allocate your time to achieve balance (?), purpose (?), satisfaction (?) … whatever your personal objective(s) is/are.
